This is where you can get THICC & JUICY galbi. This spot is known for their big galbi bone steaks and you can choose between getting it Korean or American style. We went with the Korean with all the banchans, I loooved making little lettuce wraps with this, the perfect combination of savory and refreshing! Got their Grapefruit burrata salad to start. Portions are suuper huge here, so we also shared their Wagyu cheeseburger which was probably the best burger I've ever had--I know, I was shocked too. Best meal I've had in a while so save this to try their pasta dishes too! Thanks for reading! ^-^

So first time here and already love it! The decor and interior is so intimate and romantic, perfect for a date night. I love the dim lighting since it gives off such a different type of vibe. Service was good too. Our server was friendly, attentive, and sweet! We really appreciated how he gave us so much time since we weren't sure what to order. He also helped us with our decisions too. As for the food, we ordered sides, mashed potato and grilled veggies. The mashed is pretty basic, but still good. The grilled veggies weren't completely cooked through unfortunately. For appetizers, we got the wings and calamari. For that we got the galbi sauce I believe, but unfortunately made the decision to get it on the side. It was good, but the sauce had a little alcohol taste to it. The calamari is stunning, presentation is amazing and beautiful. We loved having scissors and just cutting it up. The only thing was that it lacked salt. Now onto the main entrees, the rose tteokbokki with penne pasta, love the flavor. One of our favorites of the night! However, I absolutely loved the pescatore. It had a good, robust tomato sauce to it, and I love seafood. Unfortunately we could not order dessert, since we missed last call. 10/10. I will be back. And I will be bringing friends.

SERVICE Came for a friend's birthday and they were kind enough to hold our table when the birthday girl came late! They also allowed us to store a birthday cake in their fridge. FOOD The pastas here are good. I got the jjampong pasta and that one was HUGE. The other pastas in my group weren't nearly as big. We also got the rose pasta and the beef tartar. I would get the tartar again. I regret not getting the Korean style steak! AMBIANCE I love the dark and chill vibe. It's good for large or small groups. PARKING Huge parking lot. Free. Can't complain Docking a star only because I don't know that I would go out of my way to come back.

We came to dPlace for our friend's birthday and had a reservation. Upon arrival, we were seated right away. We asked for recs and were informed to get the OC Galbi, Pork Belly Chop Steak, Rose Pasta, and Carbonara Pasta. According to the server, the pasta is good for one and the meat dishes are good for two. OC Galbi (Korean Style) 5/5: Just note, the difference between Korean vs American "styles" is the side dishes that come with the main meat dish. The meat itself is cooked the same. The galbi was juicy and flavorful and for me, this was my favorite for the night. Rose Braised Beef Short Rib 4/5: Pretty good but I don't think it was anything spectacular. A little odd thing was my friends who have high spice tolerance said it was pretty spicy, but I didn't think so...? Carbonara Pasta 5/5: I love pasta and this carbonara sauce did not disappoint. Creamy and saucy, delicious! I probably ate the most of this from our group, I'm a noodle boy what can I say. Rose Pasta 3/5: I was rather disappointed in this pasta because I thought it would be flavored with vodka, but I did not taste it in the sauce. It was just a regular tomato-based pasta. Nothing special really. Pork Belly Chop Steak 3/5: Some of my friends really liked this but I think it was pretty meh. Definitely not worth ordering as an entree. The pork belly seemed a bit overcooked and was tough in my opinion. I like my pork belly juicy and tender, which this definitely lacked. Grapefruit Burrata Cheese Salad 3.5/5: We did not expect it to be literally grapefruit, tomato, and burrata cheese. No other vegetable really in the salad. It was not bad. House Sampler/French Fries 3.5/5: It can't go wrong. Standard appetizer. Overall service was good, interior was hip, but the food was all right.
